Waiting On Wednesday (5)

Time for the"Waiting On Wednesday" weekly meme hosted by Breaking the Spine.
Waiting on Wednesday spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating!

This week's pre-publication "can't-wait-to-read" selection is:

Matched by Ally Condie

To be Published: November 30, 2010
Description (via Goodreads): In the Society, Officials decide. Who you love. Where you work. When you die.

Cassia has always trusted their choices. It’s barely any price to pay for a long life, the perfect job, the ideal mate. So when her best friend appears on the Matching screen, Cassia knows with complete certainty that he is the one . . . until she sees another face flash for an instant before the screen fades to black. Now Cassia is faced with impossible choices: between Xander and Ky, between the only life she’s known and a path no one else has ever dared follow—between perfection and passion.

Matched is a story for right now and storytelling with the resonance of a classic.

We don't have much longer to wait for this one.  I think the cover is awesome, and the story line sounds intriguing.  Another must read!

Ooo... I just finished reading an ARC of Matched. I love romantic dystopian novels, and this one is definitely WoW-worthy! :)

I just finished Matched and it awesome! I think it's going to be the start of a series just as good (or maybe even better) than The Hunger Games.

Oh, and I saw your comment at Presenting Lenore about Unwind by Neal Shusterman. I just found out that he's been signed to write a sequel called Unwholly to be published in 2012.
