Book Blogger Appreciation Week: Meet Cass!

In honor of Book Blogger Appreciation Week I am going to highlight another GREAT book blogger!

Cass from Words on Paper!

Cass was one of my very first blog followers and I love her blog! She is a teen from Australia (somewhere I have never been, but really want to visit!). She has a lot of great stuff going on at her site, so go check it out! I hope you enjoy getting to know her better in the interview below.

1. Tell about yourself in five words or less.
Lazy nerd, loves music, "cute". (others call me that, probably due to my coy voice & short stance)

2. Who is someone you admire?
In the blogging universe? I'm sure there are a dozen YA book bloggers that are buzzing in your head when you read that question, and truth is-- I'm probably thinking the same people/blogs.

3. What book are you reading right now?
I'm currently reading Minder by Kate Kaynak. I have like 10-20 pages left to read, but last night I was exhausted and almost dropped the book mid-read, so I couldn't finish though I really wanted to!

4. What is on your mouse pad?
I haven't had one for years! My mouse seems to be incompatible with one, or something!

5. What was your favorite book as a child or young adult?
Well, I'm still a child or young adult. So, my favourite book right now is If I Stay by Gayle Forman, Before I Fall by Lauren Oliver and Tell Me a Secret by Holly Cupala. I'm a sucker for the contemporary YA novels! As a young child, though, I loved Roald Dahl. That's about all I read, for fun, when I was in primary school . . . I only just got into reading earlier this year, as a matter of fact!

6. If you were a crayon, what color would you be?
If this is the same kind of question as "What's your favourite colour", then I'd be blue. However, I don't need to be a blue crayon.

7. Why did you start your blog?
At first, it was really just to give myself somewhere to express my thoughts on the books that I read. I still do that, but it's become so much more than that. Blogging is about being a part of this massive community on the internet, and finding out about new books, sharing your love of literature to fellow fans, etc.

8. If you could go anywhere for a day, where would you go?
I would go to school, because the question runs under the implication that after that one day, you will never be able to/have to go there again. Hehe. Actually, my time at school is very limited-- after next week, I'll be done with high school forever! Or, at least, I'm hoping so!

9. Do you like your handwriting?
No. I'm slow when writing, and on top of that, my handwriting is totally temperamental! Some days it's small and "neat". Others, I can't seem to get the letters to stay straight. And just sometimes, it's a pure disaster!

10. What do you love about book blogging?
I mentioned before about being a part of this massive community, well, that's it. I love meeting and visiting different, unique and individually significant blogs/bloggers. Also, don't kid around here. I'm loving the free books I've been receiving lately!

I agree Becky. When I discover a new Australian (YA) book blogger, it's great. Also, thanks for following me, Coffee! Let me know if you have a blog, so I can follow you back!
