Synopsis (via Goodreads): Me? A Leader? Okay, I did prove that there's more to Inside than we knew. That a whole world exists beyond this cube we live in. And finding that led to a major rebellion - between worker scrubs like me and the snobby uppers who rule our world. Make that ruled. Because of me, we're free. I thought that meant I was off the hook, and could go off on my own again - while still touching base with Riley, of course. He's the one upper I think I can trust. But then we learned that there's outside and then there is Outside. And something from Outside wants In.

*spoilery warning for Inside Out if you have not read it yet!*

I was so excited to pick up an early review copy of Outside In. I was ready to get back in touch with the characters that we loved from the first novel and to find out exactly how they reacted over time to the news of what Outside really was. Even after the Sheep’s rebellion things are not all fun and games Inside. Politics are keeping things rocky as repairs and procedures struggle to be completed under the new leadership. Supposedly everyone is equal now, but is that really what is happening? On top of this, the ship is being attacked from the Inside by its own people. Trella wants nothing to do with the new leadership - she feels like she has done her job and can hand it off... Riley on the other hand feels Trella needs to step up and take charge. Throw in some new faces and life gets complicated. In the story we get to know established characters in a new way and we see Trella revert back a little to her selfish attitude. However, when things get tough you know Trella can’t sit back and be idle. The action is great in this and no one is safe from the dangers that abound Inside and Out. The plot is filled with unexpected twists and new concepts that keep the story exciting. The romance hits a rough patch as Riley and Trella struggle with different goals. Outside In is another great read and if you enjoyed Inside Out you will want to make sure and pick up this novel when it releases on March 1st, 2011! Needless to say I am now ready and waiting for the third book in this series.

I stopped by your blog today.
Ann
I just finnished reading Outside In and after having some dificulties with the first book, I have to say this was a great improvement and I really enjoyed reading it.
It's true that Trella and Riley's relationship hits a rough patch, but I also found their romance to be more intense which i liked a lot :)
Thanks for the review!
