This is a great series. Set in a future world where being "pretty" and "bubbly" is the only thing that matters the reader follows Tally's adventures as she learns and decides what is truly important in life. The series continues to follow Tally and her friends through the wild ups and downs of trying to defy the governing authority. The fourth book in the series brings in an entirely new set of characters, while still touching base with the ones you came to love in the original trilogy. A really good read, Uglies is a great start to our Dystopian countdown...
