Cha-Cha your way on over to the Book Blogger Hop!

The Book Blogger Hop is a weekly event hosted by Crazy For Books!

Book Blogger Hop
"This weekly BOOK PARTY is an awesome opportunity for book bloggers to connect with other book lovers, make new friends, support each other, and generally just share our love of books!"

This week's question is:

"What very popular and hyped book in the blogosphere did you NOT enjoy and how did you feel about posting your review?"

There are a small handful of books that are super popular and 'hyped' up that I am not a big fan of.  The one that stands out the most to me is Fallen by Lauren Kate.  Everyone seems to love this book ... me not so much.  I am sure it is an awesome story for some people, but I just didn't enjoy it.
However, I do have to say the cover is amazing.  When I post a not-so-happy review for a book I do feel a little bad, just because I am a natural 'peacemaker' and I don't want to ever hurt anyone's feelings.  Honestly though, when you read as many books as we book bloggers do you are bound to NOT like some of them.  Not every book is perfect for every person. Sometimes I just don't like something and I try to be honest about it. That doesn't necessarily mean the book is bad, it is just not for me!
 How about you?

I know another blogger on the Hop didn't like this book either so you're not alone. While I like the cover, I haven't read it yet because I wasn't interested in it.

Stopping by on the hop! I wasn't really a huge fan of Fallen either. I have seen a lot of people liked Torment but I just can't quite bring myself to read it. I"m also your newest follower!

Super cute blog! I'm a new follower. I really liked Fallen. I just completed reading Torment. But I have mixed feelings on it. Have a great weekend :)

Cha cha-ing to you!

I totally agree! Fallen was a monster disappointment. Full of holes in the story. Scene sequences didn't make any sense, and characters had major issues. I heard Torment was better...

Come see my answer!

Hey thanks for stopping by my blog. I really feel yah on the Fallen book. I only liked it, I think there are better books in that genre. Plus, the ending was annoying and the main male lead bugged me. Love your blog design and I read some of your posts and really liked them, so I'm your newest follower. Happy hopping!

I think the more I'm looking around, the more I'm convinced that most people didn't like Fallen. :)
