Waiting on Wednesday (58): Taken by Storm & The Lost Prince

Time for "Waiting On Wednesday" weekly meme hosted by Breaking the Spine! Waiting on Wednesday spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating!

  Coming Soon...

Taken by Storm by Jennifer Lynn Barnes
To Be Published: May 22nd 2012 by EgmontUSA

"Bryn knows first-hand that being the alpha of a werewolf pack means making hard decisions, and that being human makes things a thousand times worse. She's prepared to give up her humanity, but the wolf who promised to Change her is waiting - though for what, Bryn doesn't know. Still human, she must take her place in the werewolf Senate, the precarious democracy that rules the North American packs. Standing side by side with werewolves who were ancient long before she was ever born is enough of a challenge, but Bryn soon learns that the Senate has been called to deal with a problem: the kind of problem that involves human bodies, a Rabid werewolf, and memories that Bryn, Chase, and the rest of their pack would rather forget. With bodies stacking up and political pressure closing in from all sides, Bryn and her pack are going to have to turn to old enemies and even older friends for help - especially when it starts to look like this time, the monster might be one of their own."

My Ramblings on Taken by Storm: I have really enjoyed the first two novels in the Raised by Wolves series, so I am excited about this one.  Just one more week and I will be able to get my hands on it!  I am really curious to see what is going to happen for Bryn now that she is Alpha of her own pack.  Here's hoping it all turns out for the best.  *crossingfingersforluck*

 Waiting for the long haul...

The Lost Prince by Julie Kagawa
To Be Published: October 23rd 2012 by Harlequin Teen

"Set several years after the events of the first, this trilogy will star an older Ethan Chase, Meghan's brother."

My Ramblings on The Lost Prince: Everyone knows I am a big fan of Julie Kagawa's writing...  So of course I am excited about this new series.  I loved the world she created in the Iron Fey series and I am looking forward to getting to know Ethan Chase as something more than just the adorable little brother Meghan saved once. This one should be great!

I haven't read Raised by Wolves yet, though I've heard good things about that series. And I'm a new reader to Kagawa, so I don't know much about that new one, either. Good picks!
