Buried under reviews

My "normal" life has been on hold for almost a full month now. Instead life has been a non-stop mix of holiday parties, extended families, weddings, road trips, graduations, house guests, and vacations.   It has been a wonderful/hectic/relaxing/stressful time.  Needless to say the just-for-fun-hobby book blog was set on the back burner during this time, but now life is getting back into a normal routine.  Although I didn't manage to post anything on the blog, twitter, or even *gasp* facebook for ages I still managed to find time to read amongst the chaos.  This means I am practically buried alive under the amount of reviews I need to post!  I recently read all of the books below and have yet to post a review on ONE of them.  Slacker much? I think yes.

Inside Out – Maria V. Snyder

Fool Moon – Jim Butcher

Tyger Tyger – Kersten Hamilton

Everlasting – Angie Frazier

The Healers Apprentice – Melanie Dickerson

Behemoth – Scott Westerfeld

Magic Under Glass – Jaclyn Dolamore

The Replacement – Brenna Yovanoff

Awaken – Katie Kacvinsky

Nightshade – Andrea Cremer

The Exiled Queen – Cinda Williams Chima

Rampant – Diana Peterfreund

Perfect Chemistry – Simone Elkeles

Infinite Days – Rebecca Maizel

The Adoration of Jenna Fox – Mary E. Pearson

Eleventh Grade Burns – Heather Brewer

The Iron Queen – Julie Kagawa

New Years Resolution: Don't wait until you have read 17 books before posting reviews! I am going to try (try being the key word) to review each book I read BEFORE starting on the next book. I am not going to lie - this will be tough for me. However, I think it will work out better in the long run and will keep me more organized. This way I won't read a ton of books and realize that *facepalm* I have a bajillion reviews to post!

Ha! I'm in the same boat. I read faster than I review. Woops!

I am exactly the same, except that at one stage i had 27 books to be reviewed!! Last couple of weeks I have just been drafting reviews of them all and they are waiting to be posted. I am now down to only 6 reviews left to be drafted. Note to self - review a book right after you have read it. The biggest problem is that my immediate impression of the book has disappeared and I have to remember how I felt when I read it - which is difficult to do when you have read so many books since

I have the same problem...it's easier for me to read than it is to write reviews, so I tend to read more. Hopefully this year I'll be able to keep up by reviewing every other book I read or something along those lines. Good luck catching up! :D
