Death Sworn by Leah Cypess
To Be Published: March 4th 2014
by Greenwillow
When Ileni lost her
magic, she lost everything: her place in society, her purpose in life,
and the man she had expected to spend her life with. So when the Elders
sent her to be magic tutor to a secret sect of assassins, she went
willingly, even though the last two tutors had died under mysterious
circumstances.
But beneath the assassins’ caves, Ileni will discover a new place and a new purpose… and a new and dangerous love. She will struggle to keep her lost magic a secret while teaching it to her deadly students, and to find out what happened to the two tutors who preceded her. But what she discovers will change not only her future, but the future of her people, the assassins… and possibly the entire world.

My Ramblings on Death Sworn: I have not ever read anything by Leah Cypess, but I know that her Mistwood series is popular. This new Death Sworn series sounds pretty interesting and I like the cover art! Magic, assassins, lost love... sounds like a fun read to me! I am game. Only a few more days and this one will be hitting the shelves!

Ooh yes!! I've had an ARC of this for ages and have yet to read it, even though I was (and am) dying to do so! That will have to be my goal this weekend. But TUESDAY! I can't wait to see the finished copy! :) Great pick!

This book is appealing, not only in the cover art, but the description as well. I'll have to add this to my summer reading list! I've currently just gotten back into series, and am reading one right now. But I can't wait until I read it!
